ADHD Diagnostic Assessment With Healthy Mind Psychology
WHat’s involved in an ADHD Diagnostic Assessment?
ADHD diagnostic assessments follow NICE guideline NG87 and the UK Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN) Adult ADHD Assessment Quality Assurance Standard (AQAS), ensuring a thorough, evidence-based and clinically robust approach. You can find out more about ADHD here.
the adhd diagnostic assessment process
When enquiring about an ADHD assessment, you have a few choices. At this point, you may book straight into a full-day ADHD assessment to get started. Alternatively, for more in-depth discussion about whether an assessment is right for you, a 90-minute ADHD consultation appointment is available. You can find more details below. You can get in touch with any initial questions about the assessment process.
ADHD Consultation Appointment
If you are uncertain whether to commit to a full ADHD assessment, we offer a 90 minute online appointment to explore your current difficulties and whether an ADHD assessment is indicated at this time. The cost of this consultation will be deducted from the final assessment fee should you decide to proceed with the full assessment.
You will be asked to complete screening tools prior to the session. This consultation will not offer a diagnostic opinion but will recommend next steps (i.e. whether or not a full ADHD assessment is indicated, or whether an autism (ASD) or combined ADHD/ASD assessment would be better). We do not provide ASD assessments but can signpost to trusted colleagues who do offer this.
Fees
ADHD Consultation: £275 (90 mins)*
Full ADHD Assessment: £1,495
Follow-up sessions: £130 (50 mins)
*If you choose to proceed with a full assessment following the consultation this fee will be deducted from the assessment fee

Your assessment appointment will take place over a full day, from 9.30am to 3.00pm, online via Zoom. A typical schedule is outlined below.
Feedback appointment
We will meet for a 50 minute feedback appointment, usually the week following your assessment day, to discuss the outcome of your assessment and next steps.
Report
Your report will be finalised and emailed to you within a few days of your feedback appointment.
Follow up sessions
You may wish to book additional follow-up sessions for post-diagnostic support, therapy or coaching.
